Amber Beard is a producer for Penguin Random House Audio. Her productions have garnered multiple Earphones Awards and Audie Awards, and in 2023 her co-production, with Kelly Gildea, of The 1619 Project by Nikole Hannah-Jones and The New York Times Magazine was an Audie Award finalist for Audiobook of the Year. Amber has the pleasure of working with authors such as Taylor Jenkins Reid, Riley Sager, Joshua Bennett, and Omar Epps.

Alongside fellow producer Kelly Gildea, she also spearheads the Penguin Random House Audio Narrator Mentorship Program, which feeds her passion for diverse representation in audiobooks, outreach, and bolstering relationships within the audiobook community.

She’s a native Angeleno and bunny mom to Tumbleweed.
