Karen Dziekonski, VP, Audio Production at Penguin Random House Audio, leads a team of producers in the day-to-day production of approximately 2,000 audiobooks annually. As a producer, she has collaborated with creative icons of literature, film, TV, music and stage. Recently nominated for a GRAMMY Award for her work as producer of All About Me! by Mel Brooks, Karen has also produced memoirs by Harvey Fierstein, Sharon Stone, and Gloria Steinem. For almost 10 years, she has directed and produced audiobooks by New York Times bestselling author Brené Brown.

In the theater realm, Karen coproduced the audiobook recording of Angels in America by Tony Kushner, featuring the Broadway cast, including Andrew Garfield and Nathan Lane, and original music from the Broadway production. Karen is Tom Hanks’ audiobook director and producer, and most recently she produced his first novel, The Making of Another Major Motion Picture Masterpiece, with narration by Tom Hanks and a full cast, including Rita Wilson.
