You Can’t Ban Pride: LGBTQIA+ Listens for Kids & Teens

In 2023, the American Library Association announced that the number of books challenged in libraries in the United States reached an all-time high–a majority of these bans were placed on titles featuring LGBTQIA+ characters or themes.
This June and always, we’re saying you can’t ban Pride and celebrating stories for kids, tweens, and teens that have been recently banned for their queer and trans representation. Because every young person deserves to see themselves in the books that they love, and we all deserve the freedom to read.
