Amanda D’Acierno is President, Penguin Random House Audio Global, and oversees Random House Audio, Penguin Audio, Books on Tape, and Listening Library. She has guided the audio business through a period of robust growth, increasing the audio list from 500 titles in 2008 to publishing approximately 2,000 annually. During her tenure, the division has published audiobook bestsellers including President Barack Obama’s A Promised Land; Michelle Obama’s Becoming; Prince Harry’s Spare; James Clear’s Atomic Habits; Bonnie Garmus’s Lessons in Chemistry; Matthew McConaughey’s Greenlights; and Delia Owens’s Where the Crawdads Sing. The Ahab talent global casting platform, the Penguin Random House Audio app, and the Penguin Random House Audio Narrator Mentorship Program have been launched under her leadership.
