Iris McElroy is a multifaceted audiobook producer and engineer with more than a decade working in the business. As a Producer at Penguin Random House Audio, she loves the connection and creativity of casting narrators in the right projects and collaborating with authors to bring their stories to life. She has had the pleasure to work with Sandra Cisneros, Peter S. Beagle, Reese Witherspoon, Zosia Mamet, Chuck Wendig, Jamie Lee Curtis, Katie Porter, and Adam Schiff, among others. Iris enjoys working across genres, but her favorite projects are the ones where she can push the envelope of production, whether it be the creation of full cast projects, the use of original music or archived audio, or envisioning audio originals. When Iris is not working, she typically has something going in her ears: music, podcasts, or audiobooks. She’s currently seeking non-audio-related hobbies.
