Matie Argiropoulos (she/they) is the Director of Pre-Production and an Executive Producer at Penguin Random House Audio. They have worked in the audiobook industry for more than 13 years, specializing in elevated author care, with a focus on memoir and innovative sound design for the medium. Matie is a three-time GRAMMY nominee, including for Mr. Know-It-All by John Waters, and the 2019 Odyssey Award recipient for Sadie by Courtney Summers. Matie leads a team of 10 audio associates, has a master’s degree in Art History, and is passionate about urban cycling. She lives in Brooklyn with her wife and their perfect cat.
