Casting Department
The Casting Department works closely with producers to help identify and meet the casting needs for specific productions. The Casting staff regularly coordinate auditions for our team. Their goal is to broaden and diversify our talent pool, so they are continually working to onboard new talent while maintaining close relationships with our existing roster of narrators and agencies. Ahab Talent
Ahab Talent is a global online casting platform that helps content creators find and hire exactly the right actor for any voiceover project, whether it’s an audiobook, video game, ad spot, animation, documentary, or podcast. More than 13,000 actors from around the world have joined Ahab to create a profile so they can upload clips, promote language skills, and make themselves searchable for audio producers both within and outside Penguin Random House.
Narrator Mentorship Program
Launched in 2021, the Penguin Random House Audio Narrator Mentorship Program is an initiative that offers actors who are new to audiobooks the opportunity to work with our team of producers to strengthen their craft and gain industry knowledge. We believe that publishing and casting should be entirely inclusive, and we created this program to widen the playing field for every actor who participates in the program.
Influencer Program
At Penguin Random House Audio we believe that audiobooks are one of the best ways to read a book while crafting, cleaning, exercising, or while curled up with a blanket at the end of a long day. We love to share our audiobooks with individuals who are equally passionate about listening as part of our PRH Audio Influencer Program!
