She has worked in book publishing since 2008, including at Soft Skull Press, Rizzoli New York, and Macmillan Audio. During her time at Penguin Random House Audio, Brisa has led campaigns for a wide range of titles, including Will Smith’s New York Times #1 bestselling memoir Will, Pulitzer Prize–winning His Name Is George Floyd by Robert Samuels and Toluse Olorunnipa, Richard Osman’s Thursday Murder Club series, and Rick Rubin’s The Creative Act.
